Dr. Olivia Benjamin

Dr. Olivia Benjamin has known that she wanted to be a veterinarian since she was a little girl and loves helping animals. She was born and raised in the Cayman Islands and spent lots of time with her dad, Dr. Alfred Benjamin, learning and being exposed to many aspects of the field of veterinary medicine at the family's small animal practice. She has also enjoyed Externships at the Cayman Islands Dept. of Agriculture, Veterinary Services Division, where she gained experience with large animal medicine and surgery; and does voluntary work with the Blue Iguana recovery program. Dr. Olivia is a recent graduate from St. Matthew’s University School of Veterinary Medicine, who completed her final clinical year at the University of Georgia, College of Veterinary Medicine in May 2016, and joined the family practice as a new Clinician in July 2016.   She relishes being a general practitioner, at this time, and looks forward to a long career in this practice. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and canine pets Baxter and Guy.

Dr. Kristen Roberts

Dr Kristen Roberts has been working at "The Veterinary Clinic and Specialty Boarding" since April 2016 after moving from Canada.  She obtained a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Calgary prior to studying Veterinary Medicine and graduated in 2008 from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in Saskatoon, Canada.  After graduation, she stayed in Saskatoon and worked at Martensville Veterinary Hospital for 7 years as a small animal practitioner until coming with her family to the Cayman Islands.

Dr Roberts is very excited to be a member of the team at "The Veterinary Clinic" that is dedicated to supporting our community with the provision of high quality services for their pets’ health and well-being.  Dr Roberts enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine with interests in surgery and dentistry and loves the special bond that pets can form with people and how they can enhance our lives.

When she is not working, she enjoys spending time with her husband and 2 children.  “We have a cat who finds all the lizards, frogs and chickens very entertaining, here!”  says Dr Roberts who also loves to go for runs and strives to eventually run for a half or full marathon in the future.  She also likes the beach and ocean and goes scuba diving as much as possible.

Dr Kristen Roberts is very thankful for the opportunity to work as a veterinarian here in the Cayman Islands and she looks forward to meeting you and your pets!
